C. Scott Shasteen Biography

I am the most experienced media personality in Tullahoma, Tennessee. 2012 is my 28th year of wide-ranging experience in radio, television, journalism, and Internet publications.

I have been blessed to share my passion on a state-wide level as part of the TSSAA radio network during the 2010 and 2011 football postseason and the 2011 and 2-1212 basketball postseason, broadcasting multiple state championship contests.

Currently the play-by-play voice of the Tullahoma Wildcats on Fantasy 101.5 FM and FantasyRadio.com, I began calling Wildcat football in 1984. I also host High School Sports Plus, a one-hour sports talk show which airs at 6pm each Monday on Fantasy 101.5 FM and FantasyRadio.com from mid-August to mid-November.

I am the administrator and webmaster for MurphyFair.com, the premier high school football website in the state of Tennessee. Murphy Fair has published the prep football ‘bible’ for over 20 years, and he and I have teamed to provide players, coaches, and fans the ultimate high school football website. MurphyFair.com will celebrate its ninth season when 2012 kicks off in mid-August.

In addition to my high school radio work, I also am the sports information person and public address announcer for Motlow State Community College men’s and women’s basketball and softball, as well as Tullahoma High School basketball.

I had a sports television show call Sportsleader for two years in the late 1990s, and was the Sports Editor of the Tullahoma News in 1994-95.

As you can see, My experience is wide-spread in the local market and is unrivaled by any other sports media personality. I also am an accomplished public speaker and very visible in the community, having served a three-year term on the city council from 2005-2008.
